Welcome to Scouters Mountain PTA!

Our Mission

Scouters Mountain Elementary PTA is a welcoming, community-focused parent-teacher association serving students, families, teachers, and staff at Scouters Mountain Elementary School in Happy Valley, Oregon. Our mission is to build a strong, connected Coyote Pack by bringing families together, supporting our teachers and students, creating memorable school experiences, encouraging volunteerism, and raising funds that directly benefit our school.

We strive to make the PTA accessible for every family, whether they can volunteer regularly, attend events, or simply stay connected.

Find Your Way to Get Involved 🐾

Join a Committee

Help bring one of our programs or events to life! Join a committee for events, Spirit Store, Yearbook, OBOB and more. Committees are a great way to get involved without taking on a full-year PTA role.

Volunteer Your Time/Skills

Lend a hand when it works for you. Volunteer at a PTA event, help in a classroom, join us at recess, pop popcorn or sign up for one of the many opportunities that come up throughout the year.

Come to a PTA Meeting

Meet other families and staff, hear what’s happening around school and help shape what comes next. PTA members can have a voice in our planning, programs and budget, but everyone is welcome to attend, even if you aren't a member.

Take on a PTA Role

Want to get more involved? Join our board or become a chair! We need people with all kinds of skills, from planning events and finding volunteers to designing graphics, updating our website, creating Spirit Wear and coordinating school programs.

Give & Support

You don't have to volunteer your time to make a difference. Support our school through donations, BottleDrop, Fred Meyer Community Rewards, Backpack Buddies, classroom and staff wish lists, event supplies and other giving opportunities throughout the year.

Show Up & Join the Fun

This one I really think belongs here. Participation itself is involvement. Come to Coyote Nights Out, attend family events, shop the Spirit Store, join a school activity and introduce yourself to another family. Showing up helps build the connected school community we're working toward.
